But the New England responded in the second period as Henderson scored two seven-yard TDs before the ball carrier hauled in a throw from Maye at the rear of the end zone midway through the third quarter to extend the lead to 21 to 7
"It was a big time for him delivering, and it's been great for him to keep getting these reps," Maye commented on the rookie. "He aims to be excellent."
Fields threw to John Metchie toward the end of the third period to reduce the lead for the Jets but Borregales booted a two field goals in the final period as the home side sealed the victory
